Fungal Nail Treatment

Thick, discoloured or crumbly toenails, assessed and treated.

Fungal nail infections

A fungal nail infection can make toenails thick, discoloured (often yellow, white or brown), brittle or crumbly. It is very common, usually starts painlessly, and can make nails hard to cut and uncomfortable in shoes.

How we can help

We will check whether it is a fungal infection or something that looks similar, reduce thickened nails so they are comfortable again, and advise you on the treatment options that suit you.

We will also discuss the cause of the infection, whether trauma related or footwear, and provide you with advice on lacquer application and ongoing care.
