Corns and Callus
Painful hard skin and corns, removed, with advice to keep them away.
Corns and callus
Callus is hard, thickened skin that builds up where your feet take pressure or friction. A corn is a smaller, deeper area of hard skin, often on or between the toes, that can be very painful to walk on.
How we can help
Corn and callus removal is part of our routine podiatry. We remove the hard skin and corns, which is usually painless, and look at what is causing the pressure, such as footwear or the way you walk, so they are less likely to come back.
If you have diabetes
Please do not use medicated corn plasters or try to cut corns yourself. Book in with us instead, and see our diabetic foot care page.
